Display
Colour in a popular compact size, with an exclusive high-resolution 12.7 cm/5 in display The 16 bit display is capable of displaying 65k colours with both adjustable screen and keypad backlighting. The exclusive SolarMAX PLUS colour display renders the best viewing possible in the bright sunlight, and at the widest viewing angles of any marine electronics, whilst the super-white LED backlighting is adjustable to zero-dim for maximum night vision protection.
Echo sounder
Having an advanced high detail echosounder with advanced digital processing technology it produces high-detail displays over cover, thermoclines, wrecks or structures, and in all water conditions, even at high vessel speeds at depths of 1,000 m and more.
GPS
Equipped with an internal 16-channel GPS antenna with the latest high-sensitivity technology, the built-in 16-channel GPS + EGNOS + MSAS GPS antenna gives spot-on accuracy for HDS navigation, while it also outputs GPS data to other displays when connected to a NMEA 2000 network.

Special, intuitive graphic and text user interface displays are easy to understand and enable easy access and control of functions selected.
Charts and updates
Innovation by Lowrance through bringing a waterproof media card port to marine electronics is further refined with HDS, with up to two slots enabling the user:
- to load Navionics chartcards for display,
- record/save vital data, and
- to upload future HDS software features updates downloaded free from the Lowrance website.
