Labcraft Opal Series 12v 9watt Fluorescent Light Weatherproof IP65 Low energy consumption Super bright light The Opal range has been designed for use in a wide variety of locations, in a variety of applications. Moulded from polycarbonate, this stylish shape is extremely robust and capable of withstanding substantial heat. The lens is clipped to the base plate by a specially designed lip which forms a weatherproof seal (IP54) when pushed together. The FX9 model is sealed to IP65 and this is achieved by the integration of a rubber Oring. The XT (preheat) circuit is fitted as standard on the FX9 model increasing the tube life by over 10 times. One of two fixing trims can be placed over the light unit which provides external mounting holes. The base plate also has the facility for mounting screws so the Opal can be installed without the fixing trim required. L220mm x W115mm x H62mm
